Tea on Saturday

This weekend, my daughter called me downstairs.  She set-up a tea party just for me.  She even went into the yard and picked flowers.  We had sushi, macaroons, cheese and sugar cookies.  I love how she arranged the table.  It makes me realize how carefully she watches everything I do.

Take some time for tea today.  Whether you have a little person to lay-out the table for you or you do it yourself, take a minute to make yourself a pretty little tea.  It's like a mini-vacation in a china cup.

Lovely!! Wait - she PICKED flowers? Outdoors? Now? It's simply not faaair! Butterfly girl had better flap her wings super soon.

I am still in construction chaos. Just discovered there are new cracks in the bathroom wall as well :-(

Maybe I should brave the very cold weather and go and buy a semla. I can at least eat it in a beautiful new livingroom before I have to deal with the rest of the stuff.

so true - your children reflect back at you what they see and experience from you. It's beautiful yet frightening.
