Running with Scissors!


If you read my post about being a craft ambassador for Fiskars (aka, A Fiskateer), you already know about how much fun I'm having in the Fiskar community. Well, a couple of weeks ago, I got my special edition Fiskateer Scissors. They are only sent to Fiskateers and are engraved with my Fiskateer number. How cool is that? I love using them! I'm telling everyone on the Fiskateer blog about this blog entry and want to welcome all the Fiskateers who visit in the next couple of days.

In appreciation of my gift, I'm going to do a drawing. Anyone who makes a comment on this blog, today (5/1/07) and tomorrow (5/2/07) will be automatically entered. I'll draw names tomorrow night at 6pm PST. The winner will get a bag of goodies (paper ephemera) and a little piece of original art by yours truly.

Another fiskateer here too! Isn't this just the best group ever?! I have been on several other "forums" and this is the best out there.

Ok, now that I think I know what I am doing.... (I think I sent the comment to my freind. LOL). I love my Fiskateers scissors too! Great Blog! I also checked out your website. Wish I could have seen more of your art, from the classes you teach at Michaels...it sounds interesting. I also thought the ultrasound pin was very original. Keep up the great work, and thanks for passing on the RAK :-)

Hey! I got my scissors yesterday! Haven't had a chance to use them...but I am hoping to get some crafting time tonight. (Fingers crossed that my 5 month old will feel sleepy early enough...and that my little sister won't need my husband to help her move!)Oh! I'm #1314. :) I'm off to check out more of your blog!

Hi Laura, This is Fiskateer #1152 checking in. I just received my scissors a couple of days ago and am looking forward to using them in a scrapbook I will be making of my cruise vacation that I just got back from.

Thanks so much! the scissors are great and i cant wait to get some time to alter the box. Great for storage! They didnt just send us the little scissors either, they sent the big good ones! I am having a lot of fun with the fiskars website and little community. I love all the daily blogs and reading the message board. Thanks for opening up this contest!
